Meet Our Speaker: Grayson Glaze
Distinguished Professor of Real Estate, University of South Alabama

The Point Clear Rotary Club looks forward to welcoming Grayson Glaze, the inaugural Distinguished Professor of Real Estate at the University of South Alabama’s Mitchell College of Business.

Glaze brings extensive experience in real estate education and industry practice. Before joining South Alabama, he spent two decades at the University of Alabama, where he served as Executive Director of the Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE). During his tenure, the university’s real estate program became the largest academic real estate program in the country.

A University of Alabama graduate in finance and real estate, Glaze also earned his Juris Doctor from the Birmingham School of Law. Alongside his academic career, he has remained active as a real estate broker, advisor, and property developer. His professional credentials include Counselor of Real Estate, Certified Property Manager, and Certified Commercial Investment Member.

This new professorship, made possible through the generous support of Abraham Mitchell, comes at a pivotal time as the Mitchell College real estate program is transitioning from a concentration into a full undergraduate major.

The new degree programs will equip students with relevant, in-demand skills and will open doors to real estate career opportunities.

Wine Raffle Tickets

Members may pick up wine raffle tickets from David Harbison or Tim McGuire. Please connect with them soon to get your tickets and help support our club’s largest fundraiser!

Admission Ticket Buy-Back Program

As in past years, the club may have an opportunity to buy back Taste of Rotary admission tickets from members to sell to the public or provide to event sponsors. While there is no guarantee that tickets will be needed, interested members should email Noah Funderburg at pronoah@me.com.

Names will be added to a list, and members will be contacted on a first-come, first-served basis if tickets are needed. Members whose admission tickets are purchased back will instead be charged for 15 raffle tickets.

Join United States Sports University on Monday, November 9, at Steelwood Country Club for the annual USSU Eagles Golf Classic! Enjoy a day on the course with alumni, friends, and community partners while supporting student scholarships.
