Tomorrow’s Speaker: Karen Hong
Tomorrow, the Point Clear Rotary Club is pleased to welcome Karen Hong, President and CEO of Continental Aerospace Technologies™, for a conversation about leadership, organizational transformation, and the future of aviation.

Karen brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, strategic planning, team development, and global manufacturing. Before becoming CEO and President of Continental, she served as the company’s Global CFO and Executive Vice President. Her career has also included executive leadership positions with Chrysler, Milacron Holdings, and Joyson Safety Systems.
Throughout her career, Karen has successfully led business turnarounds that strengthened profitability, cash flow, and overall organizational performance. Her leadership philosophy centers on placing the “right people in the right seats” and building a T.E.A.M. culture grounded in Transparency, Efficiency, Accountability, and Moral leadership. She believes strong leadership is defined by ownership, consistency, service, resilience, and the ability to deliver results.
Karen’s impact has earned national and international recognition. She recently received the 2026 Career Mastered National Women’s Trailblazer Leadership Award, following the 2025 General Aviation Industry Leadership Award from Germany’s Flieger Magazine. She was also nominated for the 2026 Business Alabama Best CEO Award.
Headquartered in Mobile, Continental Aerospace Technologies has more than 115 years of history and is recognized globally for designing, manufacturing, testing, and supporting piston aircraft engines. Karen currently leads the company’s global operations while working alongside nearly 400 team members at its 275,000-square-foot Mobile facility.
Originally from Canton, Karen now considers Mobile home. She holds a Master of Economics from the University of Detroit Mercy and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Outside the office, she enjoys floral design, seafood, shopping, and spending time with her family. The word she uses to describe herself is simple but powerful: humble.
Join us tomorrow as we hear from a remarkable local leader who is helping Continental, its people, and Mobile’s aviation industry continue to reach new heights.
