Volunteers Needed: Taste of Rotary Raffle Ticket Sales! 🎟️

We need volunteers to help sell Taste of Rotary raffle tickets during First Friday Art Walk in downtown Fairhope this Friday, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

This is a great opportunity to promote our biggest fundraiser of the year, connect with the community, and build excitement for Taste of Rotary. If you can volunteer—even for part of the evening—please let us know! Every ticket sold helps support the important work of Point Clear Rotary.

Tomorrow’s Speaker: Dr. Jack Davis

Tomorrow, the Point Clear Rotary Club will welcome Dr. Jack Davis, who will share stories and reflections from his time practicing medicine in Hawaii.

A native of New Orleans, Dr. Davis grew up in Monroe, Louisiana, before earning a biology degree from Southwestern at Memphis, now Rhodes College. He began medical school in St. Étienne, France, and later earned his medical degree from LSU in New Orleans, where he also completed his family medicine residency.

Dr. Davis practiced with Eastern Shore Family Practice for 28 years before retiring in 2016. He then began accepting locum tenens assignments in Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii—continuing his medical career while experiencing new communities and cultures.

Dr. Davis and his wife, Ann, have been married for 32 years and have two children, Jason and Samantha. He will soon begin teaching internal medicine residents in their Continuity Clinic at Thomas Hospital.

We look forward to hearing about Dr. Davis’s journey—and especially his adventures in Hawaii!

Help Us Find Taste of Rotary Sponsors!

Taste of Rotary is our club’s largest fundraiser of the year, and its success depends on the involvement of every Point Clear Rotarian. We are asking members to help identify local businesses, organizations, and community partners that may be interested in sponsoring this year’s event.

Sponsorships support the Point Clear Rotary Foundation and help fund local scholarships, youth leadership opportunities, and grants for organizations serving our community. Please consider reaching out to businesses you frequent, professional contacts, friends, and others who share Rotary’s commitment to service.

Use the button below to download the sponsorship form and begin sharing it with prospective sponsors. Every connection helps us expand our reach and increase our community impact!
