Tomorrow’s Speaker: Tim Russell

Join us tomorrow morning as we welcome Tim Russell, a lifelong Baldwin County resident whose career has spanned military service, business leadership, and public office.

A Vietnam veteran and former Captain in the United States Army, Tim earned degrees in accounting and business before leading Baldwin Mutual Insurance Company as President. Following his retirement, he dedicated himself to public service, serving three terms as Mayor of Foley during a period of significant growth before being appointed Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Revenue, where he oversaw more than 1,200 employees and managed billions in annual state revenue.

Tim’s distinguished career also includes serving as Chairman of an International Trade Association, testifying before the United States Senate, presenting to a U.S. President, and completing two terms as Baldwin County Probate Judge. Along the way, he has served on numerous state boards, including the USS Alabama Battleship Commission.

With decades of leadership experience in business, government, and community service, Tim brings a unique perspective on leadership, public service, and the growth of Baldwin County.
