Tomorrow’s Speaker Spotlight: Kai Gray

This week, the Point Clear Rotary Club welcomes Kai Gray, CEO and Co-Founder of Motive AI, for a timely and insightful discussion on entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and the rapidly changing landscape of business innovation.

This week, the Point Clear Rotary Club welcomes Kai Gray, CEO and Co-Founder of Motive AI, for a timely and insightful discussion on entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and the rapidly changing landscape of business innovation.

Kai is helping Gulf Coast businesses navigate the future through AI readiness assessments, custom software solutions, and practical education designed to make artificial intelligence approachable for organizations of all sizes. In addition to leading Motive AI, he is the Founder and Executive Director of Lower Alabama AI, a nonprofit dedicated to building an inclusive AI community across the Gulf Coast. He also serves as Technologist in Residence at Hatch Fairhope and hosts the weekly podcast AI with Kai, where he breaks down emerging AI trends for local business owners and entrepreneurs.

Kai’s presentation will explore one of the biggest shifts happening in entrepreneurship today: the barriers to building a business have dramatically decreased. With AI tools and modern technology reducing startup costs, founders no longer need massive infrastructure, large teams, or millions in funding to launch sustainable businesses. Instead, success increasingly comes down to distribution, community, and finding the right audience.

As Kai explains, a niche business serving just a thousand loyal users can now become a viable full-time company. The challenge is no longer simply building the product. It is reaching the people who need it and creating meaningful connections in a crowded digital world.

His work with entrepreneurs through Innovation Portal and the regional startup ecosystem focuses on helping founders bridge that gap through mentorship, strategy, sales, marketing, and growth guidance.

This conversation is especially relevant for business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, and anyone curious about how AI is reshaping industries both locally and globally. We look forward to hearing Kai’s perspective on where technology is heading and how our community can position itself for the future.

We hope you will join us for what promises to be an engaging and thought-provoking program!

AI is a tool. The choice about how it gets deployed is ours.
