Tomorrow’s Speaker: Lee Ann

Tomorrow, we are excited to welcome Point Clear Rotary member Lee Ann Cain, RPh, System Vice President at Infirmary Health and Thomas Hospital, as she provides an important update on Thomas Hospital and the continued growth of healthcare services across Baldwin County.

Lee Ann has more than 20 years of pharmacy practice and healthcare leadership experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from University of Louisiana at Monroe and her MBA with a focus in Leadership from Spring Hill College. She currently oversees all pharmacy operations across Infirmary Health while also serving as COO of Thomas Hospital.
A respected leader within the healthcare community, Lee Ann is an active member of the Bay Area Hospital Pharmacy Society, the Alabama Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She also serves as Treasurer of the Southeast Alabama Hospital Association.
Lee Ann is passionate about advancing the role pharmacists play within patient care teams and ensuring healthcare professionals have the support and resources needed to provide exceptional care. She often speaks about the collaborative culture within Infirmary Health, where physicians, nurses, and pharmacists work side-by-side to improve patient outcomes and strengthen care throughout the community.
Tomorrow’s presentation will include updates on several major initiatives and expansions happening across Thomas Hospital and Infirmary Health, including:
- Continued construction progress on the Thomas Hospital Patient Tower
- The new medical office building in Malbis
- Recruitment of new physicians across multiple specialties
- Growth of the Thomas Hospital Residency Program
- Operational enhancements including ICU improvements, emergency department construction, additional beds, cath lab upgrades, and helipad developments
Thomas Hospital continues to receive national recognition for excellence in patient care, women’s services, maternity care, orthopedics, heart care, and patient safety.
