Our History
Founded in 1985, our club has a long-standing connection to The Grand Hotel and Lakewood Country Club. During COVID-19, we temporarily relocated meetings but have since returned to our traditional venues.
Our Dues and Structure
- Quarterly Dues: $45, primarily allocated to Rotary International (RI) and District 6880 (southern Alabama).
- Breakfast Charges: Members are billed for breakfast costs each quarter, regardless of attendance.
- Disaster Relief Contribution: $25 per quarter to support the club’s disaster response efforts.
- Voluntary Rotary Foundation Donation: $25 per quarter, optional.
Invoices are sent via email and can be paid by check or credit card (service fees apply).
Member Responsibilities
- Speakers: Each member is asked to arrange a meeting speaker approximately every two years. A schedule is published in the club bulletin, and the Program Committee can assist if needed.
- Engagement: Members are encouraged to participate in fundraisers, disaster relief efforts, and other club activities.

Meeting Information
Our club meets for breakfast on Thursdays. For those seeking alternative options:
- Fairhope Rotary Club: Meets Wednesdays at noon at Fairhope United Methodist Church.
- Fairhope Sunset Club: Meets Thursday evenings at the Fairhope Yacht Club.
