We are pleased to welcome Dr. Richard W. Carter, Associate Vice President for Global Engagement at the University of South Alabama, as this week’s featured speaker.

Dr. Carter plays a critical leadership role in advancing global initiatives, fostering international partnerships, and expanding cross-cultural opportunities for students, faculty, and the broader community. His work is centered on strengthening global connectivity and positioning the university as a hub for international collaboration and innovation.

With a strong background in global education and engagement, Dr. Carter has been instrumental in developing programs that enhance cultural exchange, international student support, and global learning experiences. His leadership continues to drive meaningful impact not only within higher education but also across the Gulf Coast region.

In addition to his work at South Alabama, Dr. Carter is actively involved in community-facing initiatives that promote international awareness and engagement.
