🔔 A Quick Reminder to Stay Connected
This is a friendly reminder to check in online and make sure you’re plugged into our club’s digital touchpoints. Taking a few moments to review updates, announcements, and upcoming events helps ensure everyone stays aligned and informed.
This week is a great opportunity to try it out, as Katie will be out next week. Staying connected online will help maintain continuity and keep communication flowing smoothly while she’s away.
Join us for our Point Clear Rotary Winter Social on Sunday, February 22 at 6:00 p.m. at The Wash House in Fairhope Winter Social.
This special evening will be a wonderful opportunity to connect, unwind, and enjoy fellowship outside of our regular meeting schedule. Set against the charming backdrop of The Wash House, the night promises great conversation and meaningful time together as we celebrate our Rotary community.
Please be sure to RSVP using the link provided in this newsletter (or scan the QR code on the flyer tomorrow) so we can plan accordingly. We look forward to sharing a memorable evening with you!

🎤 Tomorrow’s Speaker:
Allen C. Hirs
Hosted by, Mike Barry
This week, we are honored to welcome Allen C. Hirs as our speaker.
Allen will share the powerful story of his daughter, Gracie, who was diagnosed in 2003 with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. What began as a family’s fight for survival became something far greater. Through courage, faith, teamwork, and the support of many, Gracie’s journey inspired the creation of the “Tee Off Fore a Cure” fundraiser, now in its 21st year, benefiting the Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s of Alabama.
Allen will be joined by his wife, Debbie, as they share Gracie’s remarkable story of resilience, groundbreaking treatments, unexpected blessings, and the impact one family can make in the lives of so many others. Today, Gracie is 26 years old, a Spring Hill College graduate, and preparing to graduate from nursing school—a testament to hope and perseverance.
This will be a meaningful and inspiring presentation you will not want to miss.
We are also excited to welcome the Fairhope Students of the Month to join us tomorrow. Please help us give these outstanding students a warm Rotary welcome as we recognize their hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence in our community.
Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.
Victor Borge
