I’m Back… But Keep Checking In Online!
Good news—I’m back! 🙋♀️ But just because I’m here doesn’t mean you get to skip online check-in
Checking in online saves us time, keeps things running smoothly, and (bonus!) makes you look like a Rotary rockstar who’s ahead of the curve.
So even though you’ll see my smiling face at the meeting, please keep using the online form to check in. It’s quick, easy, and you can do it before you even leave the house.

🍷 Taste of Rotary: October 26 at The Wash House
The countdown is on for our biggest (and tastiest) fundraiser of the year! To make it a success, we need your help with two key things:
🎯 Goal #1: Sponsors
- Fund scholarships, youth programs & service projects
- Great exposure for businesses (and good karma, too!)
- Know someone who might be interested? Send them our way!
🎟️ Goal #2: Raffle Tickets
- Available now — easy to buy, easier to sell
- Proceeds go straight into the work we do year-round
- Grab a stack, share with friends, and help spread the word
✨ The more sponsors and raffle tickets we secure, the bigger the impact we can make. Let’s fill that sponsor board and keep the momentum rolling!
Stay tuned for volunteer opportunities, and more details soon.
🔍 Rotary Fun Fact of the Week:
Rotary International is truly a global family, with more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries and territories.
What started as four men meeting in a Chicago office in 1905 has grown into one of the largest and most diverse service organizations in the world. Today, Rotary clubs can be found in bustling cities, small towns, and remote villages. From Tokyo to Timbuktu, Sydney to São Paulo, Rotarians gather weekly to connect, exchange ideas, and put “Service Above Self” into action.
This worldwide reach means Rotary has a unique ability to respond to global challenges. Whether it’s eradicating polio, providing clean water, supporting education, or offering disaster relief, Rotarians combine local knowledge with international partnerships to make a lasting difference.
Even though Rotary members come from different backgrounds, professions, and cultures, they are united by the same vision: a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.
