🔍 Rotary Fun Fact of the Week:
Did you know that Rotary’s first service project was building public restrooms in downtown Chicago? In 1907, just two years after the club was founded, members took on this practical project to improve sanitation and public health. It marked the beginning of Rotary’s legacy of community service!
🍷 Taste of Rotary: Mark Your Calendar & Roll Up Your Sleeves
Planning has officially begun for this year’s Taste of Rotary, happening Sunday, October 26 at The Wash House—and we’re already cooking up something special.
As our biggest fundraiser of the year, this event fuels the scholarships, service projects, and youth programs that define who we are as a club. And like any great Rotary effort, it takes all of us to make it a success.
There will be plenty of ways to get involved—whether you want to help with logistics, donate an auction item, or lend a hand behind the scenes. But right now, we invite you to start thinking about potential sponsors—local businesses, community partners, or contacts who would be proud to support an event that gives back in such a meaningful way.
Everyone has something to contribute—and every bit counts. Let’s make this year’s Taste of Rotary our most impactful (and delicious) yet

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.
