On Monday, June 9, 2025, the Rotary Club of Point Clear proudly demonstrated its ongoing commitment to youth development and community support. Club President Noah Funderburg and fellow Rotarian John Matus presented a $22,900 check to the Fairhope Point Clear Rotary Youth Club on behalf of the Point Clear Rotary Club.

This generous contribution will directly fund two upcoming bus trips for the children enrolled in the Youth Club’s programs—experiences designed to broaden horizons, foster connection, and create lasting memories. In addition, a portion of the donation will assist in the cost of a recently acquired, newer bus that will enhance transportation safety and accessibility for the Youth Club moving forward.

John Matus, a dedicated member of both the Point Clear Rotary Club and the Board of the Fairhope Point Clear Rotary Youth Club, emphasized the importance of these investments: “Providing safe, reliable transportation opens the door to opportunity. These trips are more than just outings—they’re part of how we help kids grow, learn, and thrive.”

The Rotary Club of Point Clear is honored to support the Youth Club’s mission and remains committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young people throughout our community.
