With overwhelming demand (1,600 applications for its inaugural year), the academy is supported by a growing coalition of industry partners and local stakeholders. The Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance (BCEDA) and its Foundation have played a critical role in raising private sector funds to support equipment, faculty stipends, and programming.
Industry engagement is central to Baldwin Prep’s mission. Partners like Novelis, Infirmary Health, and TF Warren Group have invested in the school’s success through the Founders’ Circle—ensuring students have access to cutting-edge tools, mentorship, and future career pathways.
Investing in Our Region’s Future
With $100 million invested by the Baldwin County Board of Education and an additional $5 million in industry-grade equipment, Baldwin Prep is designed to meet today’s workforce challenges head-on. Mr. Sealy spoke passionately about the academy’s potential to redefine student success, noting that Baldwin Prep is helping students discover their path—whether it leads to college, a trade, or directly into the workforce.
As Mr. Sealy stated, “At Baldwin Prep, we’re not just shaping minds; we’re shaping the future of career, college, and choice.”
