Scholarship Chair Wayne Bunch presents the 2025 scholarship award to Bayside Academy’s Mai Chatwood.
The Point Clear Rotary Club is proud to announce Mai Chatwood of Bayside Academy as the recipient of our 2025 $12,000 scholarship award. A truly exceptional student, Mai distinguished herself across every category, demonstrating outstanding academic achievement, exemplary standardized test scores, and remarkable leadership.
Mai plans to pursue a degree in Business and Finance at the University of Alabama, with aspirations to attend law school thereafter. She successfully navigated our rigorous scholarship application and selection process, which evaluates candidates based on GPA, ACT scores, class rank, leadership, community service, and a personal essay.
Our scholarship committee—comprised of the dedicated individuals listed below—devotes significant time and care to ensuring that we select a candidate who exemplifies excellence and potential:
