Dr. Gul H. Dadlani is a nationally recognized leader in pediatric cardiology and a passionate advocate for health screenings in young athletes. He currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at USA Health and a professor at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama.
Before joining USA Health in 2024, Dr. Dadlani held leadership roles at renowned institutions, including serving as Vice Chair of the Cardiac Center and Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida, and as Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to mentoring the next generation of healthcare providers, earning numerous teaching awards and guiding pediatric residents into successful careers.
Dr. Dadlani has played a key role in healthcare advocacy, serving on Florida’s Pediatric Cardiac Technical Advisory Panel and as a past board member and president of the American Heart Association in Orlando. His work in preventing sudden cardiac arrest in young athletes has impacted countless communities, bringing CPR education and awareness to thousands of students and educators.
Beyond his medical expertise, Dr. Dadlani is deeply committed to service. He works with Rotary to provide healthcare to children in Belize and is grateful for the impact Rotary has on communities worldwide.
A native of western New York, Dr. Dadlani earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Buffalo, completed his pediatric residency at Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, and trained in pediatric cardiology at the University of Rochester/Golisano Children’s Hospital.
